The Waterstones Book Of The Year
Since its introduction in
2012, the Waterstones Book of the Year has become the
highpoint of our calendar. Nominated by our booksellers,
each year we set about choosing that exceptional book
which simply must be read, judged from the quality of
its writing to the sheer beauty of its production.
On the heels of last
year’s stunning
La Belle Sauvage: The Book of Dust from
Philip Pullman, the time has now arrived for us to
consider what will be our seventh Waterstones Book of
the Year.
Our winner will be chosen
by a Waterstones panel headed by James Daunt, and the
final decision will be announced on Thursday 29
November. We invite you to explore our shortlisted
books.
