Exciting news from
Flythomascook headquarters
this week – we have some new aircraft taking to the air plus we are
launching some new routes!
Next month will
see the second of our new Airbus A321-211 to enter the UK fleet but it
will be the first of the
Thomas Cook Group Airlines aircraft to be
delivered in the new ‘Sunny Heart’ livery. Six aircraft will be
deployed in the UK and will be in operation by the summer season of
2014.
Christoph Debus,
CEO of
Thomas Cook Airlines UK said, “This marks the beginning of an
exciting phase for our UK airline as we look ahead to our first new
aircraft this December. It’s very symbolic that we will see the first of
our new Airbus A321 aircraft in the UK take on our new livery, an icon
for the new Thomas Cook.
“The aircraft is
now in the final assembly stage and we plan to take delivery in early
December – with the first commercial flights taking place before
Christmas.
"Our new ’Sunny Heart’ livery expresses the
philosophy of our airline; our team putting their heart into every
flight and making sure our customers’ holiday starts as soon as they
board their flight to their holiday destination. The Sunny Heart is the
perfect symbol for our passion to create memorable holidays for our
guests."
Plus, we have some exciting new route news for
next year!
Winter 2014/15 will see the introduction of
fights from Manchester to both Varadero in Cuba and Montego Bay in
Jamaica, making them year round destinations
Next winter will also see a new flight added

For short haul, we will also be benefiting
from these additions to our timetable:
