Helen Atkinson from flythomascook  told us about their new plane delivery today!  “Following our positive financial results announcement last week, I’m excited to say our first plane with the new Thomas Cook livery has officially landed!  In what looks like a rainy scene this morning, our Sunny Heart certainly brightened up the runway!

G-TCDC is the Group’s first Airbus (an Airbus A321) and is one of a small number of its kind.  With several new features, this is also the first narrow-body aircraft to be fitted with OANS (On Airport Navigation System).  It also pleases me to announce that next week the aircraft’s first flight will consist of taking 235 sick and disadvantaged children from the Greater Manchester area to the skies to meet Santa and enjoy some festive activities!  After that, full service will commence and I for one can’t wait to see it in action! Let’s go!”
