Château Méaume, Réserve 2016 at £6 per Bottle (IN BOND)

We are delighted to offer Alan Johnson-Hill’s Château Méaume Réserve du Château 2016 which has just been released and is distributed exclusively by us.

This is Alan’s top cuvée carefully selected from his oldest and best plots in the Méaume vineyards and only produced in the best vintages. 2016 has turned out to be a great vintage in Bordeaux - on a par and possibly better than 2015. Like 2009 & 2010 the vintages are already being described as ‘unidentical twins’.

The Réserve du Château 2016, as Alan modestly put it, is “one of the best Reserves we have ever made”. We agree whole heartedly. At £6 a bottle in bond (just over £10 a bottle after taxes & delivery), this will undoubtedly be the Bordeaux 2016 bargain of the year - it comes with our absolute recommendation - we should all buy as much as we can for the years ahead.
