The Scottish Hotel Awards’ Hotel Chef of the Year
didn’t
come from an exclusive, unattainable restaurant this
year…
Instead, that honour was taken by Alan Dickinson – our
very own head chef at the
Ten Hill Place, BW Premier Collection,
Edinburgh. Alan, who runs the wonderful No. 10
Restaurant at our historic base in the heart of
Edinburgh’s Old Town, fought off competition from some
of the country’s most talented chefs to win the coveted
prize.
As is the case with so many of our revered restaurants,
the food at the hotel was hailed by judges for its use
of fresh local produce and gorgeously seasonal
ingredients.
You’d think that Alan – who’s been running his 14-strong
team for 3 years – could now rest happy, but he’s
gunning for even more; aiming for a second AA rosette
and an expansion to his kitchen…
